Winter Warmer Wrap-Up

Well I’ve come to the end of my second Urban Remedy Cleanse, and overall I think this time ’round has been a lot easier.
Although I suffered from a headache on the first day, I recall this being the same during my first cleanse. Aside from that I had no headaches and only a little tiredness on the morning of Day 4.
I did remember though that I told myself that if I did do another cleanse I would only sign up for three days rather than five. This was for a few reasons:
I’m generally quite healthy so after the initial five days I felt like I could just top-up with three days of detoxing and also I got to day 4 last time feeling like I was just going through the motions and wasn’t actually improving.
Except, silly me, I forgot.
I certainly did not feeling like I was going through the motions this time around, though.
Perhaps it is the mental stimulation (???) of physically lifting a spoon to my mouth to eat the soup, but I’m not craving anywhere near as many foods as I was last time and I’m not going out of my mind planning my first meal like I did last time.
My only criticism of the Winter Warmer cleanse is that every single day is the same. With the juice cleanse, the juices are mixed up a bit so that you get a few different ones on the first couple of days to the last days and I felt this helped a little bit with getting through it.
While I love routine, eating the same soups and drinking the same juices every single day for five days does get a little bit tedious. Since the soup cleanse is very new to Urban Remedy it might be something to add in the future and the quality of the two soups is outstanding so it would be great to see another couple thrown into the works.
So I suppose you’d all like to know how much weight I lost this time? Well, I started at 64.6kg and I’m now 62.5kg That’s a loss of 2.1kg. Haha, could I be a little bit more The Biggest Loser?
I estimated I’d lose around 2kg this time, mostly because my body wasn’t crying out to me as much as it was before the first cleanse. I’m still happy with the results, I feel so much more energetic and have been waking up early without thinking twice about the cold day I was stepping into and my eyes and skin are clearer.
I hope this has set me on the right path for Winter instead of my usual binge and put on Winter weight ‘because I can’.
So who is ready to try the soup cleanse now?

Wow you’ve got strength! Eating only soup and drinking juice for 1 day would drive me crazy!
Nice work on the weight loss!
I’ve seen these advertised and always wondered if they worked. Thanks for sharing your experience. Perhaps I’ll give it a try after winter when Bikini Season starts lurking…

I’m doing a 3day (can only get 3days outside of Sydney) and was looking for other people’s experiences. The soup sounds good for winter! All 3 days of my cleanse are the same (level 3) as they were when I did the level 2 the first time. Maybe it’s a 3 day thing?
