The Ultimate Beauty, Home and Lifestyle Giveaway
December 6, 2011 at 7:47 am 77 comments
One of my extremely lucky readers will be having an extra merry Christmas this year when they receive a hamper of goodies from some of my favourite beauty, home and lifestyle brands worth $450!
The whole prize is made up of the following:
The Aromatherapy Company Candle The Aromatherapy Company Body and Bath Oil The Aromatherapy Company Sleep and Energy Pulse Points The Aromatherapy Company Viva La Colour No.5 50ml Diffuser WYLD man and WYLD Woman JOICO K-PAK Revitaluxe Treatment JOICO K-PAK Color Therapy Shampoo, Conditioner and Restorative Styling Oil Nad’s Facial Wand Eyebrow Shaper Nad’s Natural Hair Removal Gel Klorane Dry Shampoo Avène Thermal Spring Water Avène Gentle Milk Cleanser Avène Skin Recovery RICH cream Avène Hand Cream
Obviously this is my biggest ever giveaway so it will require a little more than my usual one-word answers to get yourself in the draw. To be in the running to win this amazing pack, tell me which one of the products listed above is your favourite and why.
Haven’t tried any of the products before? No worries! Visit one of the brands’ sites, get a little background info and tell me why you want to try out a product. Extra credit if you tell me it’s because you’ve got a low sex drive and you really need WYLD for a bit of Summer lovin’.
I want to do a whole post on this topic, but just quickly: Avene is the brand that I attribute to the diminished appearance of my acne scars. I was too scared to put anything except Avene on my skin because it’s so delicate and now, post-insane breakout period, I still use it to heal the scarring. If you have any skin issues you really, really need to try it out.
Good luck with the competition and Merry Christmas!

Amazing prize! I would love to try the Nad’s Facial Wand Eyebrow Shaper because I am obsessed with eyebrows! Just like you I think that thick eyebrows look the best and don’t understand why beauticians want to wax them until they are nearly non-existent. I’m also paranoid that my beautician will move on (like so many have in the past) and I’ll need to go hunting for a new person to do my brows. So.. maybe I should just do it myself. Thanks for accepting my entry x

Nico | December 6, 2011 at 8:50 am
Because, obviously I can take the ‘Wyld’ supplements and get it on with my ladyfriend, all the while silently thanking you, which would not make the event weird or boner-killing at all.
It would probably enhance it, if anything?

Nico | December 6, 2011 at 8:51 am
(I find it sad that I actually laughed out loud at my own comment. I need to get out more)
5.
Marlo Perry | December 6, 2011 at 9:10 am

But seriously, pls deliver all the Avene stuff to my face now, I don’t have a job again until March and I sure as hell can’t afford it right now!

i’m loving klorane! i’m currently on bed rest after just having major knee surgery and can’t shower just yet….so in between horrific sponge baths from mum, klorane dry shampoo has been a life saver, especially with visitors coming by unannounced…i don’t care if they see me in my pjs, but with dirty, greasy hair..UGH. thank god for dry shampoo to keep my hair fresh and looking half decent!
11.
Courtney | December 6, 2011 at 9:53 am
and i’d love to try avene! i also have acne scars and really haven’t found a decent way to get rid of them yet….

Hi Marlo,
My favourite product is Klorane Dry Shampoo! Couldnt live without it! It means I can go straight from the gym to work in the mornings without turning up with gross dirty hair – its my biggest life saver!
14.
Alana | December 7, 2011 at 9:33 am
Hi Marlo
Klorane is my lifesaver when I sleep in (most mornings) and don’t have time to wash my hair before lawyering. Would love to try some Avene products for my dry skin! x
15.
Gemmie Alliston | December 7, 2011 at 10:17 am
I love De Lorenzo dry shampoo, such a saviour!!
16.
Nicole | December 8, 2011 at 4:30 am
Hi Marlo
Like many others, my favourite product is the Klorane Dry Shampoo. I have ridiculously oily hair (and oily skin, so double whammy with my oily fringe sitting on my oily forehead) which requires me to wash my hair daily. Now that I’ve discovered dry shampoo, I can get an extra day out of my hair which makes the product verge on damn near miraculous as far as I’m concerned!
17.
Mademoiselle Slimalicious | December 8, 2011 at 9:24 am
Thanks for the great giveaway Marlo.
I really like Avene products, they are reknow in France for their high quality. Also like me they are originally from Southern France
I would like to win the hand cream especially! My hands get very dry because of washing them so often (I’m a bit of a clean freak)!
18.
Liz | December 9, 2011 at 1:58 am
Klorane is my HG dry shampoo! I’ve tried about five different brands of dry shampoo – and they either didn’t give me the freshly-washed look of Klorane, or they were five times the price and not that much better. My hair can get oilier than a bucket of KFC, so Klorane really is a godsend for me.
19.
Kirsten | December 9, 2011 at 2:45 pm
Hi Marlo, Love reading your blog to inspire me to try things I hadn’t even known exsisted.
I would like to try the Nad’s Facial Wand Eyebrow Shaper.
My eyebrows seem to grow like weeds and living in a semi rural area with no beauty salons I have to resort to the hairdressers who never seems to do them just right so want to give it a go myself.
This product looks like hopefully I can’t do myself or my eyebrows to much damage.
20.
Lilian Harlow | December 10, 2011 at 9:51 am
What a brilliant giveaway!
Klorane Dry Shampoo is my favourite product in your list, because it’s been one of my lifesaver go-to products for years now. This little tin of wonder means I can hit the snooze button at least twice more than I used to AND my hair still looks great and is full of volume. Given my attachment to sleep… this is PRICELESS
21.
Alisha | December 11, 2011 at 2:46 am
Avene is amazing amazing stuff! I used the cleanser a while back and need to get using it again. However, I have always stocked up on the hand cream because I think a good hand cream is KEY in this day and age. Our hands age so much and are just exposed to the elements as our face – they need care too! THis giveaway is amazing – good luck to everyone!
22.
Kirsty | December 11, 2011 at 7:56 am
I’d really love to try the Avene hand cream. I work predominantly in hospitality (barista) and my hands suffer so much because of it! I also have super sensitive skin so I anticipate that Avene would work really well for me. xx

kittysdrawings | December 12, 2011 at 12:21 am
Rad prize!! I would have to say the Klorane Dry Shampoo is a fave cos I haven’t tried the others. I LOVE dry shampoo – its what gets me through not washing my hair every day and in turn makes my colour last longer. yay!
I could have SWORN I subscribed to your blog a while back now but it looks like I never did. Derp. Remedying situation right about ….Now
24.
Katie | December 12, 2011 at 4:41 am
I’d like to try the Nads hair removal gel as i’m just too lazy to shave of wax regularly! Anything that will get me out the door quicker and less hairy would be a win in my book.
25.
Suzy | December 12, 2011 at 1:51 pm
I would love to try the Avene hand cream. I am a completely obsessed nut when it comes to hand cream to the point of almost an obsessive compulsive disorder. The search for a perfect hand cream is a long and arduous one. I would love to try out the Avene hand cream and hopefully find out that it is one of the few lucky hand creams to earn the title of ‘perfect’. I’m sorry, I can’t come to the party on the WYLD thing. I can’t lie, I’m pretty pumping as it is.
26.
Gill Wilson | December 13, 2011 at 12:44 am
Thanks Marlo for putting up a most fanstatic giveaway – my fav would have to be the Aromatherapy candles.I put them in my bathroom and while having a bath bathed in Aromatherapy Body and bath oil I soak for a while taking in glow of the candle and the smell of the Aromatherapy Viva La colour No 5 Diffuser. Hopping out and drying off I then apply the Aromatherapy Sleep pulse point . If I am lucky and my man is about we then have fun with WLYD. All the time smelling sensual from the lovely Aromatherapy oils.

What a fantastic giveaway Marlo!
I would have to say my favourite of those items would have to be the Joico l-pak Colour Therapy Shampoo, Conditioner and Restorative Styling Oil.
I’ve been using these products for about 2 years now. My hair never gets sick of them, I get a lovely salon feel after every wash. The oil in particular gives a beautiful shine and sleek feel too.
Good luck everyone!
