Paris

So I’m back from my trip to Paris and London about 10kg heavier, completely exhausted and totally broke. I had an amazing time but honestly I’m so happy to be home. I missed my fluffy babies and I’ll be pleased not to have a million activities scheduled for each day when I wake up.
I’m going to post up a lot of the different things I did and restaurants I ate at, so please keep checking back over the next couple of weeks – especially if you love food!
Below are just some general pictures of my time in Paris. I was there with my parents, staying in an apartment right near Champ de Mars Tour Eiffel Metro station and since we’d all been to Paris before we didn’t need to re-do any of the touristy things like the Eiffel Tour and The Louvre so many of my photos are just of outside things. We were soooooo close to the Eiffel Tour – it was just bizarre sometimes stepping outside and looking up to one of the most famous structures in the world.
As you can see from my outfits it was quite cold while I was there. So much for my European Summer!
Some of the posts you have to look forward to include:
Le Meurice
Pierre Gagnaire
L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon
Food Markets
Avenue Montaigne
Versailles
Chambord
and lots more…not to mention my time in London!
Enjoy

Thanks!
I think the Chambord post is my next one coming up, actually.
Depending on the kind of trip you’re planning, I’d recommend checking out Shannon Bennett’s ‘Paris’ which has really great tips on hotels, restaurants of all cuisines and budgets and things to do. It really helped me add to and cull my original list.
